A Chapel at ease of St. Thomas and St. Denis
Parish, Charleston SC. Constructed 1703 as
the first Church of England edifice outside
of Charleston, SC. Still standing and
maintained by descendants of the original
families, they meet twice each year for a
service at the chapel. Richard E. Coen, Coen
and Densmore, Inc., 109 1/2 Church St.,
Charleston, S. C., 29401, is in charge the
committee which oversees the maintenance and
operation of, and funds for, Pompion Hill
Chapel for the Episcopal Church. He also
schedules the Fall and Spring services. The
address for the Chapel and for the mailing
list is PO Box 727, Charleston SC 29402.
You can send donations to him earmarked for
the Chapel and ask to be placed on the
mailing list regarding services, as well.
